Admiralty Head Lighthouse at Fort Casey State Park in Washington is close to my heart, since I grew up in the area, on beautiful Whidbey Island. I have painted on location many times. This is a studio painting based on my observance and sketches during smoke-filled skies from Canadian wildfires, emitting dramatic color from a very unfortunate occurrence.
